ID springers
« on: June 09, 2014, 11:19:15 PM »
Made our way down to Riggins,ID last weekend not knowing if the fish would be there yet. The high water had the fish blocked behind slide rapid, but the water had come down and we had hopes they would show while we were there. Well they did :chuckle: We hooked 3 friday am and then friday night it turned on we couldnt keep them off we limited out. Saturday was a down day with only 1 fish all day, but sunday we had to leave and that morning we hooked 6 fish in 1 1/2 hrs. Weather couldnt of been better 80's and sunny all weekend. A few pics of the bigger ones we caught.

Awesome! Nice haul! It was a great springer season in the lower Columbia and they're still being caught with a mix of summer kings.
Fish hard, hunt harder!

I had a blast!! I considered it a once in a lifetime opportunity, planned a work trip around being there in early June. It's a zoo but it makes me appreciate every other spot that I fish....the ones where folks aren't climbing on top of each other :chuckle:
